I’m baaaaaack!
So much has happened since the last time I posted on my blog, and I can’t wait to catch you up on everything!
Back in November, I had some big goals to continue my free group fitness challenge, and although I continued to go to new gyms and studios, I suddenly found myself with a lot less time to write the actual blog posts. Holidays, work travel, vacations, a new job in a new state, a big move, and a new car are just some of the fantastic things I’ve had the chance to experience since we last spoke.
I plan on catching up on blog posts about all the gyms I’ve had a chance to try (Vasa Fitness, LA Fitness (UGH!), and Crunch Fitness to name a few) very soon! I also plan on pivoting this blog to focus on additional aspects of why I love life, like crafting, exploring new food spots, and pushing myself to learn new things.
I’m so excited for this next chapter, and I hope you’ll stay tuned as I ramp back up on blog posts. I haven’t figured out how to create an email blast sign up through my website (I really tried!), so for now, if you want to be notified about new blog posts, shoot me an email at caitlynschmeiser@gmail.com letting me know you want to be added, and I’ll send you an email blast when I make updates to my blog!
In the meantime, let me just catch you up on everything that’s happened since November through pictures!
In November, we celebrated Thanksgiving with my Dad’s side of the family in Wisconsin!
December was filled with even more festivities, as I got to celebrate Christmas with both sides of my family and have a crafty “Freindsmas” with friends.
My favorite gift was from my big brother, Callan, who got me a heated zip-up. Carl and I also celebrated our 2-year anniversary in December.
January and February were a whirlwind with two different tropical family vacations. The Schmeisers celebrated the New Year in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and less than a month later, Carl and I got to spend a wonderful week in Costa Rica with his parents.
In between vacations, Carl and I braved the coldest weekend of the year and toured EIGHT apartments in Milwaukee. We absolutely fell in love with the last one.
I was offered a new job as an engineering project lead in January. Carl and I spent the month of February slowly moving to our new city while I started my new job.
After over a year of saving up and some pretty crazy issues with my old elantra, I finally bought a new (to me) car in March! I love her!
Carl and I were so lucky to be able to host both of our families for Easter this year in our new apartment!
