Hello World;
I love group fitness. I don’t love how expensive group fitness classes are.
There’s too many options, too many different types of classes, too many locations, and too many membership packages that are never explained on their websites.
So… let’s just try them all.
Most gyms and studios offer free classes or day-passes for first time customers. And there’s tons of gyms near me with tons of fitness classes. Why not take advantage of this?
Hypothetically, I could go to different gyms within a 25 minute radius of my home once a week until at least the new year.
So, that’s what I’m going to do. I compiled a list of gyms and studios nearby that I plan to try out for free every week until I run out of options. Each week, I’ll update this blog with a review of that fitness class, and maybe I’ll throw in some personal life updates.
I might just find something that I love and can see myself committing to for a long time…
… or maybe I’ll feel miserable after every class– but hey, I’ll still be doing something to improve myself and my body.
I’ve also sorta roped my boyfriend into this, so there might be some extra special reviews from him when he decides to join me!
This isn’t the only life challenge I’m doing right now. I’m also attempting to try a new healthy recipe once a week; today, I made a sauteed sweet potato side dish that was actually amazing. I didn’t take any pictures, but now that I have the blog, I might start documenting more! I am also attempting to crochet Christmas gifts for my family and friends this year, so you might get some updates on that. We shall see.
